What changed in 0.3.2, build 6

The publisher's release notes describe improved output-mapping controls: moving and resizing surfaces, rotation, input cropping, snapping, zoom, pan and pixel nudging. They identify fixes for edits reverting after fast drags and rapid arrow-key changes being lost. Corner pinning remains a separate tool.

The release also describes a built-in UVJ calibration card with several image sizes. Its Test card switch uses live output mapping and preserves composition effect history when returning to the mix.

These are the publisher's documented changes. They have not been independently demonstrated on this page. See the original 0.3.2 release notes for the complete release statement.

What the release check establishes

The website's release snapshot was refreshed at 2026-10-24T07:43:15.340873+00:00 from the public cask and release. The package version, architecture and operating-system minimum are distribution facts. They do not establish that every manual workflow was exercised in the packaged build, or that your set and connected display meet a performance target.

The official release states that full four-hour triggering soak, production workload performance and physical venue-output acceptance remain pending. Keep that distinction when evaluating the Research Preview.

Update between shows

Save your set and quit UltimateVJ before changing the installed app. In Terminal, run:

brew update
brew upgrade --cask ultimatevj

Read the command result. If Homebrew says the latest version is installed, there is no update to apply. After opening the app again, confirm its version and reopen your set, media and output before relying on it.

Follow Updating for the application's update workflow and Troubleshooting if something fails. Do not disable macOS security or remove quarantine flags as a shortcut.

Earlier releases

The publisher's release archive contains earlier packages and their own notes. Old release text is historical evidence, not a promise about the current package. A newer version number also does not prove that a specific bug or workflow has passed a test.

The manual includes development behavior and source-verification notes. Check the relevant page's scope and the limitations when it differs from your installed interface.
